The lavish awards presentation, attended by 480 of Specialising in fresh and authentic Italian cuisine with a Mediterranean focus, Amalfi Bistro & Wine Bar has consistently received high praise from its customers and the restaurant fraternity alike. With over 730 restaurants on the Gold Coast region, the award’s recognition of Amalfi as the best Italian Restaurant on the Gold Coast is the culmination of ongoing innovations to the menu, service and facilities. Watermark Hotel Group General Manager, Donald Cox has attributed much of the success of Amalfi Bistro & Wine Bar to it’s Chef de Cuisine – Angelo Borlotti. “Since joining the hotel over a year ago, Angelo has developed with the hotel’s food and beverage team a truly authentic dining experience that infuses his Sardinian heritage, Italian culture and extensive culinary knowledge into a truly delightful dining experience” “Watermark Hotel & Spa’s focus is to provide the most refreshing experiences to its guests and whilst this is always our first priority, the recognition of this award from our peers is very flattering” said Mr Cox.
